Bass and Pollock fishing In Northern Ireland

This is the set up I use quite often. 

The great thing is it ilimitates snags over shallow ground and inables you to cast long distance and put a fly/lure wherever you fancy. I use Bombarda float - 20 gram sinking in calm conditions and move up to 40 gram In windier weather. The line I use is Diawa J braid 8 strand 18lb and it’s very fine and casts a great distance if it’s required, with a fluorocarbon leader 12-20lb same as rod length. 

 Hi I’m Danny and I love fishing especially using a lure. I like a challenge, here are a few pictures of some of the fish I’ve very recently caught or released back to the ocean on the east coast Co Antrim. Tight lines folks stay safe.

I only keep what’s going to be put on the table. Everything else goes back alive to fight another day 👍
