I enjoy the outdoors and nature that our beautiful wee country has to offer. I live on the east coast of Co.Antrim and spend most of my time near the sea. Bass and Pollock fishing In Northern Ireland
The great thing is it ilimitates snags over shallow ground and inables you to cast long distance and put a fly/lure wherever you fancy. I use Bombarda float - 20 gram sinking in calm conditions and move up to 40 gram In windier weather. The line I use is Diawa J braid 8 strand 18lb and it’s very fine and casts a great distance if it’s required, with a fluorocarbon leader 12-20lb same as rod length.
